INFINITY to support Nuclear Supply Chain Summit 2026
INFINITY will lead a breakout session as part of Nuclear Supply Chain Summit 2026.
INFINITY is a silver sponsor of the event, which takes place at Reach Conference Centre in Derby on 7 October 2026.
Chief Executive Officer, Professor Gary Jones, will attend the summit, while Business Manager Rob Ricketts will lead a breakout session on the INFINITY project.
Prof. Jones said: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to share with colleagues details of the emerging supply chain opportunities at INFINITY.
“We recently announced our partnership with STEP Fusion and we will be making a series of further announcements over coming weeks.
“Meanwhile, talks are ongoing with investors and we are also looking to speak with small businesses which may be interested in getting involved with the project.”
The Summit is led by NucCol, which helps improve supply chains and manufacturing for the nuclear and clean energy industries.
The event brings together organisations from across the nuclear supply chain, providing insights into opportunities emerging from the UK’s expanding nuclear sector.
Delegates will hear updates on new nuclear power projects, decommissioning programmes, defence initiatives, fusion energy developments, and space-related activities.
The purpose of the Summit is to help businesses better understand where future opportunities lie and how to position themselves to secure work within these major programmes.
Confirmed speakers include Lord Ravensdale, Chief Engineer, AtkinsRéalis; Dr Edward Wright, Innovation and Growth Lead for Trent Supercluster; and Ryan Ramsey, Director of Organisational Performance for the STEP programme.
Other breakouts will be provided by the likes of Sizewell C, STEP Fusion, NucCol and the University of Derby.
