Homes and infrastructure
The INFINITY masterplan is linked to development of 4,000+ new homes, a new school and amenities. Each will be located adjacent to the INFINITY site.
All will be supported by radically improved connectivity and transport infrastructure.
Local economy
Investment in INFINITY will support high-value employment, contracts for regional suppliers and increased local business activity at a currently undeveloped location.
The site will serve as a magnet for associated investment into the East Midlands.
Skills and jobs
The onsite Rolls-Royce Nuclear Skills Academy is already training 200 apprentices annually. INFINITY will build on this, providing a pipeline of a further 1,500+ highly-skilled trainees each year.
This will support resident and graduate retention by giving people the careers required to build their lives in the region.
Listening locally
INFINITY is focused on keeping residents, schools and local businesses informed as the site develops. Consultation events and updates will be shared as the project takes shape.

Community questions
How will training work with partners?
Training routes are being built locally – through the Rolls-Royce Nuclear Skills Academy and college partners – specifically so that roles can be filled from the region.
Is INFINITY building the new homes?
No. The 4,000+ homes and their infrastructure sit within the wider 500-acre Infinity Park masterplan and will be delivered by other parties.
Does the site process nuclear material?
No. INFINITY manufactures components and provides training and testing. It does not process nuclear materials.
