INFINITY recruits for three key roles 

INFINITY is recruiting for three key roles as it continues building the team to deliver its advanced manufacturing vision. 

The appointments – Head of Finance, Head of Business Development and Executive Business Partner – represent another important step in the company’s development. 

Successful candidates will help INFINITY build the operational, commercial and financial foundations for long-term success. 

INFINITY, based in Derby, is creating the UK’s only full-scale high-TRL site for the research, development and manufacture of fission, fusion, and aerospace components.

Based around development of a 200-acre site, it brings together new technologies, manufacturing, skills, supply-chain development and industry collaboration. 

INFINITY works across industry, academia and government to create the capability needed to support important manufacturing programmes and long-term economic growth.

Each of the roles will have a distinct role in building INFINITY’s future.

• The Head of Finance will establish and lead INFINITY’s finance function, putting in place robust financial planning, governance, reporting and controls – supporting funding, grant assurance, commercial decision-making and responsible growth as the plan develops.
• The Head of Business Development will work alongside INFINITY’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Gary Jones, to develop and implement large-scale programmes, commercial opportunities and strategic partnerships. Working with diverse stakeholders, the role will develop a pipeline to support Infinity’s long-term impact.
• The Executive Business Partner will provide programme support across a complex, multi-partner environment. The role will ensure that priorities, information, meetings and actions are managed effectively as the infinity continues to grow.

The roles are opportunities to shape the UK’s manufacturing independence through shared national capability.

The Executive BP and Head of BD roles close on 17 September and the  Head of Finance role closes on 24 September.
